Safety – our safety team keeps everyone working without incidents. They make sure the right tool is being used and that our customers’ safety expectations are always met. In addition to field oversight, the Safety Department manages extensive safety-related documentation and compliance paperwork. This includes developing and maintaining site-specific safety plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and daily safety reports. They track and document employee safety training, certifications, and orientations, ensuring records remain current and compliant. The department also prepares OSHA logs, incident and near-miss reports, corrective action plans, and insurance or client-required safety submittals. Logistics Located at 800 Rike Drive, Logistics is an essential division in the MA Companies and works with each company and division. Logistics is responsible for making sure the right materials, equipment, tools, and information get to the right place at the right time, so field and shop work can happen efficiently.

Mid-Atlantic Mechanical

Mid Atlantic Mechanical office address is 1500 Rike Drive Millstone Twp NJ 08535

Our Office manager is the keeper of general office knowledge. From paper towels and pens, to where all the field guys are today. She is there to help you with any general knowledge and anything you need for your daily life. Things like binders, folders and Amazon orders. If you’re not sure of something, she can tell you.

Alex Speizio, our CFO is the head of our Accounting team. The accounting team handles the financial side of projects and day-to-day operations. Their work is closely tied to jobs, costs, and contracts. Accounts Payable ap@mamnj.com, is where you send your purchase orders so they can process vendor invoices. Accounts receivable tracks customer payments and apply cash receipts to jobs. Payroll processes your weekly payroll and helps allocate labor costs.

Our Estimating team, lead by our VP of Estimating Carlee Ludwig, is amazing at winning the bid! Our Estimating team figures out how much a project will cost before work starts. Our estimating team is divided into Piping, Plumbing, HVAC, and Sheet Metal, with each estimator focusing on their area of expertise. They perform detailed take-offs and provide valuable engineering recommendations to clients while preparing cost estimates on design-build, design-assist, and plan/spec construction projects up to $5 million.

What is design-build, design-assist, and plan/spec construction projects?

Design-Build – when a mechanical contractor designs the HVAC system and installs it, all under one contract.

Design Assist – when a mechanical contractor advises on ductwork layout and equipment selection during the design phase, but doesn’t build until construction contracts are signed.

Plan/Spec : A mechanical contractor receives complete HVAC plans and submits a bid to install the system exactly as designed.

Operations is led by the exceptional Josh Fuss and encompasses the teams that bring our projects to life. The department is organized into Procurement, Pipefitting, Plumbing, Fabrication, Drafting, Safety, Project Management, and Mid-Atlantic Metal Fabrication.

So—what does each group do?

Procurement  gets the large materials and equipment on time for the right price for each project

Pipefitting and Plumbing departments in Operations, are in the field to prepare, set up, and install materials.

The Fabrication department performs in-house fabrication in our shops, where piping and plumbing are prefabricated before being sent to the field. This increases efficiency by allowing field teams to focus on installation rather than shop-level fabrication tasks.

The Drafting department serves as a coordination hub, working closely with other contractors and the customer to develop and advise on system designs. They use specialized drafting and modeling software to verify constructability, select appropriate hardware, and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.

Project Management – At Mid Atlantic we break down the Project teams into several jobs. Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Project Coordinator.

Project Managers are responsible for the overall execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of mechanical projects. They lead the project team while managing and approving key documentation, including contracts, change orders, budgets, schedules, billings, and overtime requests. They oversee submittals, RFIs, and closeout documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Project Managers review cost reports, labor projections, and purchase orders, coordinate with accounting, and ensure all required documentation is submitted, approved, and properly archived throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Coordinators manage the bulk of a project’s administrative tasks and document control. They maintain project documentation in SharePoint and ACC, and are responsible for preparing, logging, tracking, and distributing submittals, RFIs, Issues, and meeting minutes. Coordinators facilitate communication between Project Managers and Field Superintendents, including ensuring Project Manager approval for all overtime. They maintain project files, update drafting and tracking logs, manage drawing revisions, and help keep projects on schedule. Additionally, they assist with material tracking, purchase small materials and hardware for the job, handle subcontractor paperwork, and organize closeout documentation, acting as a vital link between the field, office, vendors, and project management.

Project Engineers manage the technical documentation required for mechanical projects. They review submittals, understand equipment data and specs, and review shop drawings; respond to RFIs; and coordinate design clarifications with engineers, contractors, and vendors. They work closely with drafting, fabrication, and field teams to ensure documents reflect constructible solutions. Project Engineers also support commissioning, testing reports, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings, helping ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications and codes.

Mid-Atlantic Metal Fabrication Located at 1700 Rike Drive, the facility is equipped with specially designed, industry-leading equipment. They encompass our state-of-the-art metal fabrication division. The team includes members of our Drafting and Project Management groups, skilled Local 22 sheet metal workers both in the shop and in the field, and a dedicated in-house staff.  The Mid-Atlantic Metal Fabrication shop cuts, forms, and fabricates custom HVAC ductwork, fittings, and assemblies, which are then delivered to job sites for field installation.

Mid-Atlantic Service 360

Mid Atlantic Mechanical office address is 1550 Rike Drive Millstone Twp NJ 08535

Service Dispatch Team – Our service coordination team is made up of dedicated, hard-working professionals who serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. They manage both preventative maintenance programs and emergency or non-emergency service requests with efficiency and care. This team is responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians in a timely manner, ensuring the right resources are assigned to each job.

By balancing customer needs with technician availability, they help keep operations running smoothly, minimize downtime, and maintain clear communication from the initial call through job completion. Their attention to detail and commitment to responsiveness play a critical role in delivering reliable service and a positive customer experience.

Our HVAC technicians handle everything from routine maintenance and emergency repairs to full system installations and upgrades, ensuring comfort, efficiency, and long-term performance.

In addition, our commercial plumbing technicians are equipped to manage a wide variety of plumbing needs. These services include, but are not limited to, fixture retrofits, water heater installation and replacement, pipe camera inspections, drain jetting, and system troubleshooting. Whether the project is preventative maintenance or a complex repair, our technicians are committed to safety, precision, and minimizing disruption to our customers’ operations.

Projects Team –

Sales and Estimating – Similar to Mid Atlantic Mechanical, the Service 360 Estimating team is responsible for accurately determining project costs before any work begins. They specialize in reviewing job requirements through detailed site walks, identifying materials, equipment, and rentals needed, and calculating the labor hours required to complete the work efficiently and safely.

Using this information, the team prepares a detailed estimate—often referred to as a yellow sheet—that clearly breaks down each line item. This transparent approach ensures customers have a full understanding of material costs, labor, and equipment needs, giving them the information required to confidently review and approve the quote before the project moves forward.

Accounting – Our accounting team manages the financial operations that support Service 360 and our day-to-day business activities. Their responsibilities are closely tied to customer contracts, recurring invoices for preventative maintenance programs, and tracking costs associated with emergency and non-routine service work.

Accounts Payable is responsible for processing vendor invoices and purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate payments. All purchase orders should be submitted to ap@mamnj.com for processing. Accounts Receivable oversees customer billing, tracks payments, and applies cash receipts to the appropriate jobs and accounts. Payroll handles weekly payroll processing and supports the accurate allocation of labor costs across projects.

Together, the accounting team ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency, helping keep operations running smoothly and projects financially on track.
